Did You Know?

Organized in 1960, the Gilbert Historical Museum moved to the old elementary which was deemed a historical building in 1980. The museum is only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and kids under age five are free.

The luxurious, private Paradise Valley Country Club has a challenging par 72 course that was designed by Lawrence Marion Hughes and Keith R. Foster. The 18 holes on this course span 6,802 yards. The slope rating is 132 on this regulation length golf course.
